Sean Lynden is the President of the Venture Banking Group of Pacific Western Bank, where he leads the technology, life sciences and venture capital practices, managing a team responsible for developing and growing client and investor relationships across the country. Sean is a 30-year veteran of the venture banking space, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Technology Banking for Pacific Western Bank’s Venture Banking Group. Before that he was a Senior Risk Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing the credit quality of the Venture Banking Group’s West Coast portfolio.

Prior to joining Pacific Western Bank, he was a founding partner at Gold Hill Capital, a venture debt firm based in San Jose. Sean began his banking career with Silicon Valley Bank where he spent over 13 years in a variety of roles including sales, credit, risk management and strategic planning. He holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University. Sean joined Pacific Western Bank in 2015.
